Manasukkulla: Here’s the first song from Mera Naam Shaji

Nadirshah’s new film ‘Mera Naam Shaji’ is gearing up for release next month. The movie starring Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Baiju in the leads is touted to be a full on fun entertainer. As informed earlier by the makers, first song from the movie was released online just a while back.

The song titled ‘Manasukulla’ is a romantic track featuring Asif Ali and Nikhila Vimal. Shreya Ghoshal has rendered the track,lyrics for which is penned by Santhosh Varma. Debutant Emil Muhammed has composed the song.

‘Mera Naam Shaji’ is the story of three individuals named Shaji. While Baiju’s character Shaji Sukumaran is from Trivandrum, Asif Ali’s Shaji George is from Ernakulam. Biju Menon’s character is from Kozhikode. From the promos, the movie looks like a fun mass entertainer on the lines of Nadirshah’s previous two films, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and ‘Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan’.
