Manikya Kiliye: Here’s a new song from Shylock

Mammootty starrer ‘Shylock’ continues to get tremendous response all over. The film which hit screens on January 23 has taken a massive opening. After a successful opening weekend, the film managed to have good occupancy on the first working day, Monday, as well. With families also thronging theatres in large numbers, ‘Shylock’ is certain to have a long run.

Meanwhile, the makers have released a new song video online. The track titled ‘Manikya Kiliye’ is composed by Gopi Sunder. Sachin Raj, Allwyn Eby George, Divya S Menon and Christa Kala have rendered the song. Along with the Malayalam lyrics written by BK Harinarayanan, veteran actor Raj Kiran has penned the Tamil lyrics.

‘Shylock’ is an out and out mass entertainer that has a terrific Mammootty at the helm of things. In what is otherwise a regular storyline, it is the megastar who holds things together. Ajai Vasudev has directed the film and is scripted by Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed.
