Master makers release an action-packed teaser

Once it was officially announced that ‘Master’ will be releasing in theatres on January 13, the makers have been releasing new promo videos daily. Last day, an action-packed video was out with the popular ‘Vaathi Raid’ score in the background. The film promises to be a treat for Vijay fans and action lovers. More of such promos will be shared till the film’s grand release.

‘Master’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi pitted against each other. The former plays an alcoholic college professor, while Sethupathi essays the villain role of a gangster Others in the cast include Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das and Gouri Kishan among others. Anirudh has composed the music.

‘Master’ release is eagerly awaited by many as it is expected to be a big commercial booster for the industry that has been running on losses for almost a year now. Though the Tamil Nadu government had initially allowed 100% seating capacity in theatres, the Centre has instructed to revoke their decision and allow only 50% occupancy. The film is also getting dubbed and released in Hindi and Telugu. The film’s Telugu version is releasing simultaneously on January 13, while the Hindi dubbed version will be out on January 14.
