Mohanlal trains hard for his boxing film; Here’s a workout video

Mohanlal is currently spending the lockdown days at his beachside home in Chennai. The actor has been keeping himself busy with regular exercises. A couple of photos of him training in boxing and doing Surya Namaskar early in the morning have been shared online. There is also a video of him doing the skipping exercise.

For over the past year or so, Mohanlal has been working out regularly to maintain a fit physique. He is planning to do a boxing-based film with Priyadarshan soon. It is presumed that he is trying to achieve a major makeover for this highly ambitious film.

Before the lockdown, Mohanlal was working on ‘Barroz’, his directorial debut. He is also playing the titular role in this fantasy entertainer made in 3D format. The film is scripted by ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ director Jijo Punnoose. A 13-year-old child artiste named Shayla McCaffrey essays the main lead. The film has mostly foreign actors as part of the cast. As of now, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Prathap Pothen are the only Malayali actors known to be part of the film. The team has wrapped up one schedule so far.
