Nivin Pauly looks fierce this highly promising teaser of Thuramukham

As announced earlier, the makers of ‘Thuramukham’ have released the film’s teaser online. The 1-minute long teaser gives a sneak-peek into what the film is about. Directed by Rajeev Ravi, it is a period film based on the historic protests against the inhuman ‘chappa’ system, that existed during the 1940s wherein copper coins were thrown at waiting workers in a primitive work guarantee scheme.

Nivin Pauly seems to be playing a rebel who stands up against the inhuman practice. It looks like Indrajith Sukumaran and Arjun Ashokan play activists who stage protests against the system. Joju George also gets a great moment in the teaser as he is seen punching someone down. Sudev Nair essays the antagonist’s role in the film. Others in the cast include Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, Darshana Rajendran and Manikandan Achari.

‘Thuramukham’ is scripted by Gopan Chidambaran based on his father KM Chidambaran’s play of the same name. sukumar Thekkeppat of Mini Studio is producing the film.
