Onnam Kandam song from Aaraattu out!

Mohanlal’s ‘Aaraattu’ got released in theatres last day. The film is getting excellent response from the fans but critic reviews have so far been mixed. Meanwhile, the makers have released a song video from the film. Titled ‘Onnam Kandam’, the song is composed by Rahul Raj. Swetha Ashok, Narayani Gopan, Yasin Nizar, Mithun Jayaraj, Aswin Vijayan and Rajkumar Radhakrishnan have lent their vocals. Rajeev Govindan has penned the lyrics.

‘Aaraattu’ is directed by B Unnikrishnan and scripted by Udhayakrishna. Mohanlal plays a character named Neyyattinkara Gopan in it. The makers have intended it as a proper entertainer for the fans to celebrate Minamahal. It has umpteen references to his old films including ‘Chandralekha’, ‘Aaram Thamburan’, ‘Ravanaprabhu’ and the more recent ‘Lucifer’.

‘Aaraattu’ has a huge star cast. Shraddha Srinath is the female lead. Siddique, Sai Kumar, Riyaz Khan, Nedumudi Venu, Indrans, Lukman, ‘KGF’ fame Garuda Ram, Ashwin Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, Swasika, Rachana Narayanankutty, Sheela and many others are part of the film.
