Oruvakkinal song from 1971 Beyond Borders

Mohanlal- Major Ravi team’s 1971 Beyond Borders is all set to hit screens on April 7. Telugu version of the movie, titled as 1971 Baratha Sarihaddu is also releasing on the same day. First video song from the movie was released today.

1971 Beyond Borders is based on the 1971 war fought between India and Pakistan. Mohanlal is playing a dual role in the movie, Mahadevan and his father Sahadevan, who fought for the country in the 1971 war period.

The song Oruvakinnal is composed by Rahul Subramaniam and sung by MG Sreekumar and Swetha Mohan. Lyrics for this song is written by Nikhil S Matathil. It is a feel good track showing the family side of army man Sahadevan. Mohanlal and Asha Sarath will be seen as a couple in the movie.

1971 Beyond Borders has a huge star cast. Telugu actor Allu Sirish, Arunoday Singh, Srushti Dange, Priyanka Agarwal and Zoya Zayed Khan, Sudheer Karamana, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurup, Krishnakumar, Devan and many other actors will be seen in supporting roles.

Sujith Vassudev has handled the cinematography. Songs in the movie are composed by three music directors— Najim Arshad, Siddharth Vipin, and Rahul Subramanian. Background score is handled by Gopi Sunder.

This big budget movie is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner Red Rose Creations.
