The Ranbir Kapoor starrer, which is the biopic of veteran actor Sanjay Dutt, has been doing some phenomenal business across all the centres. Ever since its release on June 28, the movie has been winning over the critics and commoners alike. Ranbir Kapoor’s stunning performance backed by adept direction from the hit-maker Raj Kumar Hirani has worked wonders for Sanju.

Even before its release, the movie garnered a lot of buzz for Ranbir Kapoor’s striking resemblance to Sanjay Dutt. Since the movie traverses through different timelines, Ranbir appears in multiple looks in the movie. Since Sanjay Dutt is a popular star who is still in the limelight, it was a huge challenge for Ranbir to achieve the various looks.

A 6 minute-long making video of how Ranbir went through the physical transformation has been released today in social medias. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor, Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra share their experience working on the movie. Ranbir was initially apprehensive of doing the movie as he felt he could not emulate the charismatic Sanjay Dutt on screen.
