Singappenney: First single from Vijay’s Bigil is out

As informed earlier, the first single from Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Bigil’ has been released online. The track titled as ‘Singappenney’ is penned by Vivek and composed by maestro AR Rahman. It is an inspirational kind of song that the makers have dedicated to all the daughters of the country.

‘Bigil’ directed by Atlee is a mass entertainer with woman’s football at its crux. The movie has Vijay dual playing a dual role as a gangster father and his son, who is a footballer-turned-coach. Nayanthara is paired with Vijay in the movie. Veteran Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Induja, Varsha Bollamma, Reba Monica John, Daniel Balaji and Anand Raj will be seen in supporting roles.

AR Rahman has scored music for the movie, cinematography is by ‘Mersal’ fame GK Vishnu and edits are handled by Ruben. ‘Bigil’, produced by AGS Entertainment, is scheduled for a grand Diwali release in October.
