Suresh Gopi as Thambaan; Watch Kaaval teaser here!

As announced earlier by the makers of ‘Kaaval’, the film’s teaser has been released online. The teaser was released today as a special treat for Suresh Gopi fans as the star is celebrating his 61st birthday. ‘Kaaval’ is written and directed by ‘Kasaba’ fame Nithin Renji Panciker. The film has high expectations as it marks Suresh Gopi’s return to mass genre after a very long gap.

Suresh Gopi is playing a character named Thamban in the film. Along with him, Renji Panicker is also playing a full-length character. The film is basically an action-packed family drama. The story set in the high ranges of Idukki and spans across different timelines.

The film has an elaborate cast comprising of Zaya David, Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani and Pathamaraj Ratheesh. National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is the cinematographer, Mansoor Muthutty is the editor and Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame handles the music department

‘Kaaval’ shoot is yet to be wrapped up. The film was on the verge of completion when lockdown was announced. 10 more days of shoot is still left and it’s expected to be resumed once restrictions are lifted. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is producing the film.
