Teaser of Mammootty starrer The Priest released

As announced by the makers, the teaser of Mammootty’s ‘The Priest’ has dropped online. Fans had been eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of the film and as it turns out, the teaser looks promising. The film directed by debutant Jofin T Chacko is said to be a mystery thriller. It does not reveal much about the storyline and thus retains the mystery element.

The makers have not yet revealed any details regarding the film. From the promos, it looks like Mammootty plays a priest’s role. Manju Warrier plays the female lead’s part. It is her first film with Mammootty and their on-screen chemistry will be something interesting to look forward to.

The cast also includes Nikhila Vimal, Jagadheesh, Ramesh Pisharody, Ameya Mathew, Baby Monica of ‘Kaithi’ fame, ‘Nayika Nayakan’ fame Venkitesh and Tony Luke. Cinematographer Akhil George, editor Shameer Muhammed and music director Rahul Raj form the core technical team. The film is jointly produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu.
