The Legend trailer released; Trolls galore in social media

‘The Legend’ starring Legend Saravanan is gearing up for release. The film’s trailer was launched in a grand event in Chennai last day. The trailer introduces Saravanan as a scientist who is determined to do make the lives of his people better. He faces stiff opposition from many. The setting is similar to the Rajinikanth-Shankar film ‘Sivaji’. If the plot’s similarity is not enough, the makers of ‘Legend’ have roped in Suman as the villain and the late Vivek as the hero’s sidekick. Both the actors had played the same roles in ‘Sivaji’.

Directed by JD-Jerry, ‘Legend’ is aimed as a complete commercial mass entertainer. However, the trailer has received a lot of flak for the hero’s performance. Saravanan looks odd and out of the place in most scenes, though the trailer looks rich and pleasing. Besides playing the lead, he has also produced the film.

‘Legend’ has a big star cast and a strong technical team. Urvashi Rautela, Geethika, Nasser, Prabhu, Rahul Dev, Vamsi Krishna, Vijay Kumar, Yogi Babu and many others are part of the cast. Music is by Harris Jayaraj and Velraj has cranked the camera. While Ruben edits the film, Anl Arasu has choreographed the stunts.
