Trailer of Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman released

As informed earlier, the trailer of Nayanthara starrer ‘Mookuthi Amman’ has been released online. The film written and directing by RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan looks like a satire on religious fanaticism. Last year, RJ Balaji wrote and starred in ‘LKG’, which was a satire on the current political scenario in the country. The film was well received and emerged as a box office hit. The makers will be hoping to repeat the same with ‘Mookuthi Amman’.

In the trailer, Nayanthara appears in a divine avatar. The film seems to have a relevant message about how political parties are indulging in all sorts of wrongdoings in the name of religion. We can also seee that demigod devotion is also being mocked in the film.

RJ Balajo, Urvashi, ‘Visaranai’ fame Ajay Ghosh and Moulee will be seen in major roles. Dinesh Krishnan is the DOP and music department is handled by Girishh. Dr Isari K Ganesh of Vels International is producing the film. It is scheduled for release on Disney + Hotstar on November 14.
