Simtaangaran: Sarkar song crosses 5 million views in record time!

As informed by the makers, the first song from Vijay’s Sarkar was released last evening in social medias. AR Rahman has composed this dance number that supposedly features Vijay and lead actress Keerthy Suresh. Meastro AR Rahman has composed the song and lyrics is penned by Vivekh of ‘Aalaopraan Tamizhan’ fame. From the initial response in social medias, it looks like the song is a hit among the fans. It has some quirky lyrics and moves at a peculiar tempo. Just like AR Rahman’s other songs, this one is also expected to be turn out good in repeated hearings.

Sarkar marks Vijay’s third outing with director AR Murugadoss after the blockbuster success of Kaththi and Thuppakki. Unlike their earlier films, Sarkar is a political thriller featuring Vijay in the role of a multi-millionaire. Reports suggest that the movie discusses the current political scenario in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Sarkar has Keerthy Suresh paired with Vijay while Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar also plays a very prominent character. Pala Karuppaiah, Radha Ravi, Livingston, Yogi Babu, Prem and many others are also part of the movie’s supporting cast. Its technical team includes AR Rahman, Malayali cinematographer Girish Gangadharan and ace editor Sreekar Prasad.

Sun Pictures is making their comeback to production by funding this big ticket film. The makers are planning to host a grand audio launch function next month. The movie is slated for a worldwide release this Diwali, in November.
