Mohanlal’s Velipadinte Pusthakam is releasing tomorrow (August 31) all over Kerala amid high expectations. The makers have released a new song from the movie today. This beautiful track is rendered by Madhu Balakrishnan and Vrinda Shameek. Shaan Rahman has composed it and Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma has penned the lyrics.

Mohanlal, Anoop Menon, Anna Reshma and Priyanka feature in this song. Velipadinte Pusthakam is written by Benny P Nayarambalam. Mohanlal appears in two different looks in the film – one as college vice principal Michael Idicula and the other as a local goon hailing from a coastal area.

Angamaly Diaries fame Sarath Kumar, Jude Anthany Joseph, Aanandam fame Arun Kurian Siddique, Salim Kumar, Alencier Ley Lopez and many other supporting actors are also part of the cast. Godha fame Vishnu Sarma has cranked the camera and the music department is handled by Shaan Rahman. The movie is funded by Mohanlal’s own production house Aashirvad Cinemas.
