Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Durbar teaser is promising

Vijay Sethupathi has multiple projects lined up and one among them is ‘Tughlaq Durbar’. The film’s teaser got released today. It looks like a mass entertainer that touches upon local politics. The film is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayal.

‘Tughlaq Durbar’ has Sethupathi playing a character named Singam. The story revolves around the transformation of Singam from a betrayer into a good person. Raashi Khanna is paired with Sethupathi in the film. Malayali actress Manjima Mohan is also essaying a crucial character as his sister. Veteran actor Parthiepan plays the antagonist’s role.

Accoring to the makers, ‘Tughlaq Durbar’ has an out-and-out mass subject. Balaji Tharaneetharan, who has directed films like ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ and ‘Seethakaathi’, has written the dialogues. The film’s technical team includes Manoj Paramahamsa as the DOP and Govind Vasantha as the music director.

‘Tughlaq Durbar’ is being produced jointly by 7 Screen Studio and Viacom 18.
