Popular Malayali actress Miya George recently got engaged to Ashwin Philip, a businessman from Kottayam. The wedding ceremony was held at St Mary’s Cathedral Basilica in Kochi. Unlike the usual celebrity weddings, this was a simple function that saw the presence of only close friends and family members. The wedding was conducted following all the Covid-19 protocols instructed by the government.

Miya and Ashwin had got engaged on August 25 at Pala. Pictures from their engagement ceremony and wedding have been shared by several fan pages in social medias. Miya’s sister Gini has also shared the wedding video in her YouTube channel.

The actress will be next in Tamil will be ‘Cobra’, the big-budget film that has Vikram in the lead. She is playing one of the female leads in the film. In Malayalam, her next release will be ‘Kanmanilla’, in which she essays the role of a police officer.
