Actor-writer Shanker Ramakrishnan’s directorial debut ‘Pathinettam Padi’ is gearing up for release next Friday (July 5). As informed earlier, the movie’s official trailer has been released by actor Dulquer Salmaan through his social media handle. It is a story about the rivalry between a bunch of teenagers from two different schools.

The lead roles are essayed by newcomers, the cast also includes stars like Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Unni Mukundan and Arya. Mammootty plays an extended cameo in the movie. His character named John Abraham Palackal is a very prominent one and he basically takes the story forward. The actor sports an extremely stylish look in the movie. Prithviraj, Arya and Unni Mukundan will be seen in guest appearances.

Apart from 66 newcomers, the elaborate cast also comprises of noted actors like Priyamani, Manoj K Jayan, Ahaana Krishna, Maniyanpilla Raju, Maala Parvathy, Biju Sopanam, Suraj Venjaramoodu and others. Shaji Nadesan is producing the movie under the banner of August Cinema.
