Tamil super star Rajinikanth praises PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the nation by surprise on November 8th by making the 500 and 1000 rupee notes illegal.

This was done to stop the fake currency circulation and to retrieve all the black money. This movie has been welcomed by most of the Indian citizens.

Celebrities took to social media pages to congratulate the government on taking such bold and historic stand against corruption and black money.

One of India’s biggest superstars Rajinikanth congratulated the Prime Minister on Twitter. He tweeted that a new India is born. The superstar is not a regular on the micro blogging website. This is only his 39th tweet overall.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s son-in-law and National award winning actor Dhanush also tweeted about this landmark decision taken by the government. He called the move as fabulous and a historic one.

Common men, sports personalities, politicians have all welcomed this timely decision by the government.

The government will issue new 500 and 2000 rupee notes. Citizens can exchange their notes in the nearest banks and post offices. 50 days time have been given to exchange the notes.
