Mohanlal celebrates Pulimurugan 100 crore success in 1971 Beyond Borders set

Mollywood’s all time blockbuster movie Pulimurugan has officially entered the 100 crore club becoming the first Malayalam movie to achieve the feat.

The complete actor Mohanlal is currently shooting for his new movie 1971 Beyond Borders in Rajasthan. He celebrated the success of Pulimurugan with the team of his new movie.

Mohanlal had shared photos of him cutting the cake as part of the celebration in his official Facebook page. Director Major Ravi, Sudheer Karamana, Renji Panicker, cinematographer Sujith Vassudev and other crew members were also seen with Mohanlal.

1971 Beyond Borders is a war movie based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Mohanlal will be playing the role of Major Mahadevan for the fourth time after Keerthichakra, Kurukshetra and Kandahar.

He will be playing dual roles in the movie. One as Major Mahadevan and the other as his father who is also a soldier who fought in the 1971 war.

1971 Beyond Borders is a big budget movie produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner Red Rose Creations.
