Maheshinte Prathikaram Final Collection Report | Kerala

Maheshinte Prathikaram, the flick released in this year February had become the second blockbuster of the year after Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju. Maheshnite Prathikaram had marked the grand come back of Fahad Fazil to his winning ways as he was struggling in the last few years as a star in Mollywood. Success eluded him for a long period of time and at last when it came, it was indeed a big one.

Maheshinte Parthikaram was the debut directorial venture of actor Dileesh Pothen and the movie was produced by popular director Aashiq Abu. Shyam Pushkaran had written the screenplay of this family entertainer. As per the reports coming in from various trade guides, the final Kerala collection of this film is around 15.5 crore.

The film had took only an average opening at box office due to Fahad’s failures in last year. But later it picked up pace in box office as the great opinion from people had spread all around Kerala. The film had released in 68 screens in Kerala and within one week the screen count was increased to 90 due to heavy rush. The multiplexes at Ernakulam also contributed handsomely to the box office returns of the film.
