Manyam Puli First Day Collection Report

While Pulimurugan is continuing its sensational run in the Kerala box office, the Telugu verison of the movie, Manyam Puli was released yesterday.

Pulimurugan was released on October 7th during the Pooja holidays in 331 in Kerala. The movie set a new opening day collection record in Kerala Box Office with a collection of 4.06 crores. Now according to Telugu media, Manyam Puli has beaten this amount.

Manyam Puli was released in 350 theatre in Andhra Pradesh. Trade sources inform that the movie has made a huge opening with a collection of over 5 crores from the first day itself.

On Saturday, Manyam Puli will have 80 shows in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. This show count includes multiplexes and the normal single screen thetares.

Mohanlal’s previous two releases in Telugu this year, Manamantha and Janatha Garage were commercial successes especially Janatha Garage which went on to do a business of more than 100 crores.

The success of these movies and the presence of Tollywood actor Jagpathi Babu have played a major role in the movie’s big initial pull. Jagpathi Babu played the antagonist Daddy Girija in Pulimurugan.
