Wow ! Pulimurugan touched the magical figure of 150 crore

For the first time in the history of Malayalam cinema, a movie from here had touched the 150 crore mark in box office and it is Pulimurugan, starred by the Complete Actor Mohanlal and directed by Vysakh.

We all know that this was coming, as Pulimurugan had become the first ever Malayalam movie to gross 100 crore from box office, weeks before. The movie had collected around 135 crore from its worldwide run till now and it had done a pre-release business of 15 crore+ as well. Thus the flick had become a part of the 150 crore club in South Indian cinema.

From Kerala alone, Pulimurugan had grossed above 80 crore from 66 days run. The UAE/GCC gross of the movie is 33.20 crore and it is the biggest ever South Indian grosser as well there.

The rest of India gross of the movie is 9.5 crores and from US-UK box office together, it had earned more than 3.65 crore. From rest of the world market, it had grossed a figure above 1.6 crores.

The Telugu dubbed version of this movie had grossed over 6.5 crore in 10 days from its worldwide run. From Andhra and Telangana alone, it had earned a gross above 5.8 crore and it got a share around 3.5 crore from there.

It got super hit status there and still doing great business there despite the release of big Tollywood movie like Dhruva.
