Puthiya Niyamam Collection Report – 5 Days

Mammootty’s recent release Puthiya Niyamam had opened to mixed response from the audience and critics alike. There are people who liked the film and there are ones who do not find much good in the film as well. Now, that mixed reviews affecting the box office collections of the film as well. From the first day itself, the film not showing great promise at box office. This AK Sajan directorial and written flick is doing only an average business in box office now. As per the latest reports from trade guides. Puthiya Niyamam had made a gross just below or just around 4 crore rupees from 5 days of its theater run here in Kerala.

Even in the holidays, it did not getting that enormous pull of the audience and the film is showing little bit strength only in the evening and night shows. But it is not getting houseful shows at all major centers as well. That unbalanced equation all over Kerala had made the film look tired in its box office run. In Multiplexes of Ernakulam, the film is showing a status way too below a standard level, specially, till evening. Evening shows are now the relief of the film. Now the share of the film from Kerala is just below or around 2 crore and it had to maintain a steady collection till next weekend and may be for another week, to enter in to a safe zone.

The verdict of the film cannot be told now as it stands in a position where we can’t call it a box office success or a box office failure. It is in between and trying to go to the category of a box office success. We have to wait till one more week to confirm whether it will get to that safe zone or not.

The superb run of Maheshinte Prathikaram is blocking Puthiya Niyamam a big way and as per reports, at some main centers, even Nivin Pauly’s Action Hero Biju is getting more crowd response than Puthiya Niyamam. The exam month is also affecting the film too much as per reports.
