Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy off to a glorious start at the worldwide box office

‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ has taken a phenomenal opening at the box office. As per collection reports, the film has grossed Rs 81.40 crores from the worldwide box office. The first day share alone accounts to around Rs 51.88 crores. In India alone, the film has grossed Rs 68.0 crore with a share of Rs 45.68 crore.

‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ hit screens worldwide in four languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. As per initial reports, the film has managed to live up to the tremendous pre-release hype. The epic period film directed by Surender Reddy is based on late freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who fought the British valiantly much before the Sepoy Mutiny.

While Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi plays the titular role, the film’s massive star cast also includes popular stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, Ravi Kishan, Niharika, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji and Kiccha Sudeep. Apart from the huge numbers at the box office, the film has also got good reviews from the critics.
