Check out these new stills from Vijay Sethupathi’s Maamanithan

Last year, Vijay Sethupathi had shot for a film titled ‘Maamanithan’ helmed by his mentor Seenu Ramasamy. After several months of completion of shoot, the makers have released some new location stills online. Vijay Sethupathi plays an auto driver in the film. Gayathrie, with whom he has acted in ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’, ‘Super Deluxe’ and ‘Puriyatha Puthir’, plays the female lead. Guru Somasundaram is also essaying a major role.

Director Seenu Ramasamy and Vijay Sethupathi have previously worked together in the National award winning film ‘Thenmerku Paruvakaatru’, ‘Dharmadurai’ and the yet-to-be released ‘Idam Porul Yaeval’. Tamil cinema lovers are expecting to see another quality film from this successful actor-director combo.

‘Maamanithan’ is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja is producing the movie. Interestingly, the film has music scored by Yuvan, his brother Karthik Raja and his father, Ilayaraaja. An official announcement regarding the film’s release date is expected to be made soon by the makers.
