Kerala State Film Awards 2015 stills Photos

Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2015 has been given away last night at Palakkad Indhira Gandhi Municipal Stadium.

Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the function on Saturday night and it was a grand event indeed. Chief Minster had given away the awards for 48 different categories.

Dulquer Salmaan had received his first ever state film award for best actor. He won that award for his performance in the Martin Prakatt- Unni R movie named Charlie.

Parvathy received the best actress award and she won it for her performances in Ennu Ninte Moideen scripted and directed by RS Vimal. Her performance in Charlie also helped her to win this award.

JC Daniel lifetime achievement award was given to master director KG George. Veteran artists like Madhu, Sheela, Sarada, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and filmmaker Sreekumaran Thampi, music director M.K. Arjunan, Sound Designer Rasool Pookkutty etc were honored at the function as well.

Charlie had won 8 awards in different categories and Ennu Ninte Moideen come at the second position in the number of awards won by films.

Actor Jayasurya, Music director Gopi Sundar etc were also there to receive the awards. Dulquar Salman and Parvathy were the center of attraction at the event.
