Aditi Balan replaces Nithya Menen in Kunchacko Boban’s next

As reported by us earlier, Kunchacko Boban is set to team up with director Shaheed Khader for a family entertainer. The director, who is a former associate of late Rajesh Pillai, has earlier helmed the Tamil movie, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, which was the remake of hit Malayalam movie, ‘Traffic’. His upcoming film with Kunchacko Boban marks his debut in Malayalam.

As per the makers, it is a story about a heartfelt relationship between a husband and wife. Nithya Menen was initially signed as the heroine but the actress has now been replaced by Aditi Balan of ‘Aruvi’ fame. This is Aditi’s second film in Malayalam after bagging the female lead’s part in Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film ‘Padavettu’.

Shaheed Khader’s film is set entirely in Kolkata and shoot will be beginning there by the second week of November. E4 Entertainment is producing the film. The makers had recently released a casting call looking for child actors. More details are expected to be out along with the official announcement.
