Aditya Roy Kapoor says he had become a fan of Dulquer Salmaan

Dulquer Salmaan has got a new fan and this time from Bollywood.Yes, We are talking about Aditya Roy Kapoor who had become popular in Bollywood through the super success of the film named Aashiqui 2. Now he is all set to play the role Dulquer Salmaan played in Mani Ratnam directorial film OK Kanmani in Tamil.

The film is remaking to Hindi and Aditya Roy Kapoor is playing the character played by Dulquer Salmaan. Aditya Roy Kapoor said that after watching OK Kanmani, he had become a great fan of Dulquer Salmaan and really wants to meet him personally. Aditya Roy Kapoor said to a media that Dulquer Salmaan was given a smashing performance in the original version.

OK Kanmani directed by Mani Ratnam was a last year released Tamil Film in which Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon played the lead role. It was a romantic film and was a success in Kollywood as well. In the Hindi version of OK Kanmani, Nithya Menon’s character will be played by Sradha Kapoor and it will be uniting of Aditya Roy Kapoor and Nithya Menon after the success of Aashiqui 2 as well.

Dulquer Salmaan was earlier appreciated by Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma and legend Amitabh Bachchan as well for his performance in OK Kanmani. Dulquer’s last film Charlie was a success and he has a handful of projects as well this year.
