After Suriya, Karthi also provides financial aid to fans club members affected by pandemic

Following his brother Suriya’s footsteps, actor Karthi has also provided financial aid to fans club members affected by pandemic. While Suriya donated Rs 12.5 lakhs to 250 members, Karthi has deposited Rs 5000 each to more than 200 members of his fans club.
Last month, the brothers along with their father Sivakumar contributed Rs 1 crore towards the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund (CMPRF) for the fight against COVID-19. They personally handed over the cheque to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.

On the professional front, Karthi has ‘Irumbuthirai’ fame PS Mithran’s ‘Sardar’ and Mani Ratnam’s biggie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ coming up. ‘Sardar’ has Karthi sporting a salt and pepper look. It is also learnt that he is playing a dual role in the film, which is a second in his career after ‘Siruthai’. Rajisha Vijayan and Raashi Khanna are the two female leads in it.

‘Ponniyin Selvan’ has Karthi sharing screen space with big names like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi etc.
