Ajith’s next titled Vidaa Muyarchi

Putting an end to all the speculations, it has been announced that Ajith’s next film (AK 62) will be directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Titled Vidaa Muyarchi, it is produced by Lyca Productions. The announcement as a special treat for Ajith fans on the star’s birthday.

AK 62 was originally supposed to be directed by Vignesh Shivan for Lyca Productions. However, the project got dropped just days before its commencement as the makers were unhappy with its second half. It was later that Magizh’s script was greenlit. He has earlier directed action-heavy films like ‘Thadayara Thaakka’, ‘Megaamaan’ and ‘Thadam’. His last release was the Udhayanidhi Stalin starrer ‘Kalaga Thalaivan’.

‘Vidaa Muyarchi’ will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his third collaboration with Ajith after ‘Vedhalam’, and ‘Vivegam’. Nirav Shah has been signed as the cinematographer. More details regarding the project are awaited.
