Arya to star in Pa Ranjith’s boxing based film!

Arya and director Pa Ranjith are all set to team up for a boxing based film. Shoot for the same has been planned to commence next month. It is said to be a story set in North Chennai, a setting that the director had explored quite effectively in his 2014 film ‘Madras’. Though he was supposed to make a Hindi biopic on Mirsa Munda next but the project got postponed due to some unknown reasons.

Pa Ranjith has been planning to make this sports film for some time now. Just like Pa Ranjith’s earlier films, this one is also expected to deal with topics like oppression and discrimination that happens in the field of boxing. Arya’s extremely fit physique and his willingness to put the extra efforts makes him an ideal choice to play a boxer.

More details regarding the project are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
