Aviyal is on the way, A film from Nivin Pauly, Alphonse Puthren and Karthik Subbaraj team

An anthology film is coming this February and it will be something very big from Kollwood. The film is titled as Aviyal and it will feature films by directors like Alphonse Puthren, Yogesh, Mohit, Shameer , Guru and Karthik Subbaraj. As per reports Alphonse Puthren’s film will have Nivin Pauly playing the lead and it may be the short film they made some years back named as Eli.

Karthik Subbaraj is one of the most promising directors in Kollywood and his films like Pizza, Jigarthanda etc had won great critical and commercial acclaim. His upcoming movie is Iraivi and the trailer of the film already out and going viral all over social media as well. The news about this anthology film named Avial is said by Karthik Subbaraj himself through his official twitter account.

It will be a treat for us for sure as it joins together the finest Young film makers of kollywood anmd Alphonse Puthren from Mollywood. Premam and Neram had given great reach for Alphonse Puthren there in Tamil Nadu as well. Karthik Subbaraj started with making short films and he had made many short films in his career and the last one released last year named Bombay Talkies (Neer).

Some reports says that this film Avial will be an anthology film created by joining together the best short films made by the above mentioned directors. The film will be released in theaters by Thenandal films and it is coming out from Stonebenchers Creation.
