Dulquer Salmaan starrer film name Charlie had released in last year Christmas season and now going on to become a success in Box office. The film directed by Martin Prakatt and written by Unni R and Martin had generated mixed opinion among viewers and critics as there was a lot of anticipation among them before the release of the film. That hype had helped the film to get a great opening weekend at box office and it had grossed around 6.5 crore in its first 4 days.

Then the mixed reviews began to affect as the collections began to drop drastically in the working Days. The success of Dileep starrer flick Two Countries also affected the box office run of Charlie. But there are positive things coming out for the film as well. Popular writer and director B Unnikrishnan had praised the film after watching it. He posted a Facebook post which appreciated the whole team behind the film and Dulquer Salmaan for his good performance in the film as Charlie.

B Unnikrishnan said that Martin Prakatt and Unni R just narrated the whole story of the film like a beautiful poem which will make us remember the film for a long time. There is a sense of beauty in every aspect of the film. He said that Charlie is the best film of Martin Prakatt till now in his career and Unni R also delivered one of his best screenplays for this film.

Unnikrishnan has all praise for Dulquer Salmaan’s performance as well. He said that Dulquer had done a great job as Charlie and in most parts he really make us remember about the mannerisms of Mohanlal. Unni said that Charlie has deep shades of many Mohanlal characters we have seen in 1990’s and Dulquer had given a new level of his performance to the audience.

Unnikrishnan also praised the fabulous performance of Parvathy as Tessa and he also appreciated the work of editor Shameer who started his career in Grandmaster directed by B Unnikrishnan. Anyway this will really boost the team of Charlie.
