Biju Menon and Udhayakrishna to team up for a comedy entertainer

Biju Menon’s last few releases – Rosapoo, Sherlock Toms, Orayiram Kinakkal failed to create an impact at the box office. But the actor still has some exciting projects in the pipeline. Adding one more to the kitty, Biju Menon has signed for a comedy entertainer with Suresh Divakar of ‘Ivan Maryadharaman’ fame. Udhayakrishna is scripting this movie touted to be a full on comedy entertainer.

Saptha Tarang Cinema, the banner which produced the recent superhit Panchavarnathatha, is funding this Biju Menon starrer as well. More details regarding the cast and crew or when the project goes on floors have not yet been announced.

Biju Menon is currently awaiting the release of Padayottam in which he plays the role of a Trivandrum based gangster Chenkal Raju. Debutant Rafeek Ibrahim is directing the movie which according to the makers is a serious comedy on the lines of Delhi Belly and Jigarthanda.

Biju Menon has also committed for movies with Lal Jose and G Prajith of ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ fame. Sajeev Pazhoor, who won the National Film Award for best screenplay writer for Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum. (TD) is scripting Prajith’s movie.
