Bilal: Jaffer Idukki reveals that his character Shamsu is also part of Big B sequel

‘Bilal’, the sequel to Mammootty’s cult gangster film ‘Big B’, was about to begin shoot in full swing when the lockdown was announced. The makers were forced to drop their plans and ever since then, fans have been waiting to hear when shoot will be resuming. Written and Unni R and directed by Amal Neerad, ‘Bilal’ is easily the most hyped Mammootty starrer in the making.

Along with Mammootty, actors like Bala, Mamta Mohandas and Lena who all played important roles in the first part have been retained in the sequel as well. In a recent interview to The Cue, actor Jaffer Idukki revealed that he is also part of the film. He will be seen reprising his character Shamsu from ‘Big B’. He has even shot for a few portions before the lockdown. In ‘Big B’, his character was into breeding dogs and selling them but when it comes to ‘Bilal’, he will be seen doing a different business.

Besides ‘Bilal’, Jaffer Idukki also has several other projects coming up. ‘Churuli’, ‘Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan’, ‘Karnan Napoleon Bhagath Singh’ and ‘Djinn’ are some of them.
