Bottle Cap challenge goes viral as celebs join!

After the Ice Bucket challenge and Kiki challenge, yet another one is going viral in social medias worldwide. Called the Bottle Cap challenge, it needs the challenger to uncap the bottle in a kick, without letting the bottle move. The challenge reportedly started with mixed martial arts fighters and soon gained popularity across the world.

Last week, Kazakh Taekwondo champion Farabi Davletchin posted the #BottleCapChallenge video and dared several other celebrities to accept the challenge on Instagram including Jason Statham, Conor McGregor, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jackie Chan. Action star Jason Statham, well known for his roles in ‘Transformers’ and ‘Fast and Furious’ joined the challenge by posting his video of uncapping the bottle.

In India, the challenge was popularized by the Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who also urged all fellow Indians to participate in it. Along with the video, he has written,

Other Bollywood celebs like Tiger Shroff and ‘Gully Boy’ fame Siddhant Chaturvedi also followed suit. Down South, stars like Arjun Sarja and Neeraj Madhav successfully completed the challenge and posted the videos in their respective social media handles.
