Siriki: First single from Kaappaan to be released tomorrow

The highly anticipated multi-starrer ‘Kaappaan’ is gearing up to hit screens. The movie directed by KV Anand has a stellar star cast lead by two of South cinema’s biggest stars – Mohanlal and Suriya. As the movie gets ready for release on August 30, the makers have planned to release the first single tomorrow. The track titled ‘Siriki’ is composed by Harris Jayaraj.

‘Kaappaan’ is touted to be an action packed thriller. The movie has Mohanlal playing the Indian Prime Minister’s role. His character is named as Chandrakanth Varma and it is a grey-shaded role. Suriya will be seen as a high-rank National Security Guard (NSG) officer, who is in charge of the PM’s security. The cast also includes Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani, Shamna Kasim and Samuthirakani in major roles

Lyca Productions is backing this big budget flick. Besides Tamil, the movie will also be releasing in Telugu. The Telugu version has been titled as ‘Bandobast’ and its first look poster was unveiled recently.
