After so much of anticipation and confusion, the release date of Martin Prakatt directorial, Dulquer Salmaan-Parvathy Menon starrer flick Charlie’s releasing date has been fixed. It will be releasing on this coming 24th December Thursday. Earlier it was all set to release tomorrow, on December 18th. But the unexpected theater strike that began this week had disrupted all its schedule and that’s why they had to postpone the release date to December 24th.

Now the 24th and 25th December is going to witness a flurry of release as films like Dileep- Shafi team’s Two countries, Unni Mukundan-S Binu team’s Style, Manju Warrier- Rojin team’s Jo and the boy and Friday Film house’s Dhyan Sreenivasan-Aju Varghese-Namitha Pramod film Adi Kapyare Koottamani is all set release on next week due to the theater strike that happened this week. This week had only other language releases in Kerala like Shahrukh Khan’s Dilwale and Dhanush’s Thanga Makan.

Charlie is scripted by Unni R and financed by Martin Prakatt, Joju George and Shebib Bucker under the banner of Finding Cinemas. Jomon T John was the DOP of the film and Gopi Sundar had tuned the songs. Artists like Aparnna Gopinath, Soubin, Nedumudi Venu, Chemban Vinod, Joju, Seetha, Neeraj Madhav, Jacob Grogory, Renji Panicker, Kalpana, Ramesh Pisharody, Joy Mathew, Sunil Sugada, Kannan Sagar is a part of this film along with Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Menon.

This is the second film of Martin Prakatt and Dulquer Salman team after the successful film named ABCD. Parvathy and Dulquer also acting together for the second time as they acted as a pair in Anjali Menon’s last year film named Bangalore Days which was also a big success.
