Dulquer Salmaan’s new release named Charlie had got a very good opening in Kerala even though the mixed reviews pulled it down later. But the superb opening weekend had made the film safe in box office and as per reports it has the potential to be the top solo hit of Dulquer Salmaan.

Now, the film is all set to be the biggest Malayalam release in UAE and GCC. As per reports the film will have more than 80+ screens in UAE alone. Now it will be the second biggest UAE release after Bahubali (Telugu movie, 2015) in south India as well.

The flick directed by popular filmmaker Martin Prakatt and written by popular writer Unni R along with the director had amassed some good critical opinion even though generated only average reviews from the audience mostly. The first weekend collection of the film had gave him a gross of 6.82 crore. But later it went down and now it has around 10 crore gross from 12 days. Now with the big UAE release it hope to get good earnings from its overseas market.

Its good for Malayalam Cinema as a whole as the market of the films from Mollywood increasing with each releases and it can develop our industry to great heights in terms of its reach and exposure.
