Check out these new stills from Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman

Nayanthara is starring in RJ Balaji’s directorial debut titled ‘Mookuthi Amman’. Balaji is directing the film jointly with NJ Saravanan. Shoot has been completed and the makers are hopeful of getting a release soon after the lockdown restrictions are over. Meanwhile, they have released few stills from the film’s location.

In all these stills, Nayanthara appears in a divine avatar in the poster. Back in the 80s and 90s, there was a separate fan base for devotional films among the Tamil audience. ‘Mookuthi Amman’ is said to be a satirical take on the same. RJ Balaji has scripted the film and he is also playing one of the lead roles. Last year, he wrote and starred in ‘LKG’, which was also a satire on the current political scenario in the country.

‘Mookuthi Amman’ also stars Indhuja Ravichandran, Urvashi and Moulee in major roles. Dinesh Krishnan is the DOP and music department is handled by Girishh. Dr Isari K Ganesh of Vels International is producing the film.
