Check out the Tamil and Telugu posters of Mohanlal’s Villain!

As informed earlier by the makers, Mohanlal’s Villain is getting dubbed in Tamil and Telugu languages. The Tamil version has been titled as Mr Villain while it is named as Puli Joodham in Telugu. An announcement regarding the release date of both these movies have not yet been made official.

Directed by B Unnikrishnan, Villain is an emotional thriller with Mohanlal playing the lead role of police officer Mathew Manjooran. It also stars Tamil actor Vishal, Telugu actor Srikanth, Raashi Khanna, Hansika Motwani and Manju Warrier in significant roles.

Villain was released amidst huge hype in October last year. The hype was majorly due to its highly impressive promos and the stellar star cast. However, the movie opened to mixed reports from the commoners, who expected it to be a mass entertainer. Fans, who expected a mass entertainer, were hugely disappointed with the movie as it follows an emotional mood throughout.

Mohanlal’s performance in the movie was widely rated as his finest in recent years. After the initial backlash, the movie gradually picked up at the box office and ended its theatrical run as an average grosser. The movie is produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Films.
