CIA aka Comrade in America releasing tomorrow amid huge expectations

Dulquer Salmaan’s much awaited CIA aka Comrade In America is gearing up for a wide release tomorrow (May 5). The movie, directed by Amal Neerad is highly anticipated by the Malayali audience.

The hype surrounding CIA is sky high and it is majorly due to the teaming up of Amal Neerad and Dulquer Salmaan. The duo have previously worked together in Kullante Bharya, a shortfilm in the anthology 5 Sundharikal. But is was not the usual Amal Neerad flick that are known for being stylish and unique with the treatment.

CIA, meanwhile is expected to be a mass entertainer with Amal Neerad’s touch of stylish filmmaking. From the teaser and posters, we believe that CIA will be a complete mass entertainer with equal doses of romance, heroism and action.

Dulquer Salmaan fans are waiting with bated breath for a trademark Amal Neerad film. The actor commands a huge fan following in the state and when the two join, it is certain to set have a huge opening.

CIA, written by Shibin Francis is a story about Aji Mathew, a Pala based youngster who travels to US in pursuit of his girlfriend. Newcomer Karthika Muraleedharan is playing the female lead. Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothen, John Vijay and Jinu Joseph are also part of the cast. Action choreographer Mark Chavarria who has worked in Hollywood movies like Logan, Inception, Pearl Harbour and Terminator has choreographed the stunts in CIA.

Gopi Sunder is composing the songs and background score for the movie, produced by Amal Neerad’s own banner Amal Neerad Productions.
