Colleagues from Malayalam film industry wish Manikandan Achari a happy married life!

Malayalam film actor Manikandan R Achari got married in a temple in Thrippunithura on Sunday. Anjali, a native of Maradu in Kochi, is the bride. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the wedding was a very private affair with only very few family members attending the ceremony. The wedding was conducted following all the lockdown protocols.

Several colleagues from Malayalam film industry have wished Manikandan through his social media handle. Stars like Nivin Pauly, Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Hareesh Kanaran and many others have wished him a very happy married life. Fans and well wishers have also joined in wishing the actor. Manikandan had recently won hearts by donating a hefty sum saved for his wedding to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Manikandan made his acting debut in 2016 with the Rajeev Ravi directorial ‘Kammattipaadam’. His performance as a local thug Balan was widely appreciated and it won him the prestigious Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor. Later, he did notable roles in films like ‘Varnyathil Aashanka’, ‘Eeda’ and ‘Carbon’. Last year, he made his debut in Tamil cinema last year with the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Petta’. He will be next seen in a major role in the multi-starrer ‘Thuramukham’.
