Confirmed: Malayalam actor Dhruvan also part of Valimai

Thala Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is touted to be a cop-thriller made on a lavish scale. Though it has been over a year since shoot commenced, the makers have been extremely tight-lipped about the film so far. There has been no official regarding the cast yet but we have managed to learn that Malayalam actor Dhruvan is part of the film.

The young actor who made his debut with the hit film ‘Queen’ is also noted for his roles in films like ‘Children’s Park’ and ‘Finals’. Rumours are rife that Dhruvan essays a cop’s role in ‘Valimai’ but a confirmation is still awaited.

‘Valimai’ has Bollywood actress Huma Quereshi as the female lead. Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda will be seen as the antagonist in the film. Veteran actors Sumithra and Achyuth Kumar are also part of the cast. The film has Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director and Nirav Shah as the cinematographer. It is being produced by Boney Kapoor.
