Confirmed: Shane Nigam set to make his Tamil debut with this National award winner’s next

Within a very short span of time, Shane Nigam has established himself as one of the most promising actors of this generation in Malayalam. The consecutive success of his films like ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ and ‘Ishq’ have made him a bankable star as well. He presently has a handful of projects in Malayalam, and besides that he is set to make his Tamil debut as well.

Shane Nigam’s maiden Tamil film will be directed by Seenu Ramasamy. The actor revealed this during an exclusive interview with Onlookers Media. Shane has pinned high hopes on the film and added that he will start working on it by the end of this year. Other details regarding the film is expected to be officially announced shortly.

Seenu Ramasamy is a National award winning filmmaker, known for his films like ‘Thenmerku Paruvakaatru’, ‘Neerparavai’ and ‘Dharma Durai’. His second film ‘Thenmerku Paruvakaatru’ won three National Film Awards, including the award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. The director is currently busy with the post-production works of his highly anticipated film ‘Maamanithan’, starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.
