Confirmed: Simran signed to play Rajinikanth’s pair!

It is already known that superstar Rajinikanth’s next is with the talented young filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj. The movie which has Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist went on floors last month in Dehradun. The movie also stars Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Sanath Reddy, Deepak Paramesh and ‘Aadukalam’ Naren in crucial roles.
Latest to join the cast is Simran, one of the leading actress in the 90s and 2000s.

Reportedly, Simran is paired with Rajinikanth in the movie. This is her first film with the superstar and their on-screen chemistry will definitely be refreshing. The actress has already started shooting for the movie. Scenes featuring Simran and Rajnikanth will be shot in a resort in Dehradun, which will be presented as Simran’s house in the movie.

Recently, there was a buzz going around that Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil has been roped in for a major role in the movie. But director Karthik Subbaraj dismissed it as baseless rumours. The makers have kept utmost secrecy about the shoot. Details regarding Rajinikanth’s character or the movie’s genre have not yet been revealed.

This yet-to-be titled movie’s technical crew includes National award winning cinematographer Tirru, composer Anirudh Ravichander and action choreographer Peter Hein. Title and first look are expected to be unveiled very soon.
