Dhruv, Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna in Dulquer Salmaan’s next production

Dulquer Salmaan’s production house Wayfarer Films is producing a new film that has ‘Queen’ fame Dhruvan, Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna in the lead roles. Prasobh Vijayan, who had earlier directed ‘Lilli’ and ‘Anveshanam’, is helming this film. It is scripted by Ratheeh Ravi of ‘Ishq’ fame.

Shoot has been progressing in Ernakulam for the last few days. It is learnt that the makers have completed the first schedule. Details regarding the film’s genre, supporting cast and technical crew are not yet known. The team is expected to make a formal announcement soon.

Dulquer Salmaan had set up Wayfarer Films to promote young talents. This is the banner’s fourth production venture after ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’, ‘Varane Avashyamund’ and the yet to be released ‘Kurup’. While ‘Varane Avashyamund’ was a theatrical success, ‘Maniyarayile Ashokan’ got released in Netflix and received lukewarm response. ‘Kurup’, touted to be the biggest project in the star’s career, is also most likely to be an OTT release.
