Director Fazil as Father Nedumpally in Lucifer

The 26 day 26 character intro poster release by ‘Lucifer’ team continues. Today, the makers have released the poster featuring veteran filmmaker Fazil, who is playing the role of a priest, Father Nedumpally. The movie directed by Prithviraj has Mohanlal in the lead. It is worth a mention that it was Fazil who introduced Mohanlal in cinema with his debut directorial, ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal’.

Later they worked together in films like ‘Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal’, ‘Manichitrathazhu’, ‘Harikrishnans’ ‘Vismayathumbathu’ etc. They both have also acted together in ‘Nokketha Dhoorathu Kannum Nattu’, in which the director played a cameo role. It will be interesting to see Mohanlal and Fazil sharing screen space after a gap of 33 long years

‘Lucifer’ scripted by Murali Gopy is touted to be a mass-packed political entertainer. The movie has an elaborate cast comprising of Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Bala, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Saniya Iyyappan, Sai Kumar, Nandu, John Vijay, Adil Ibrahim, Sachin Khedekar, Shaun Romy and Nandu.

‘Lucifer’ is being produced by Mohanlal’s own banner Aashirvad Cinemas. The makers are planning to release the movie on March 28, but an official word regarding the same is still awaited.
