Director Roopesh Peethambaran against Theevram producer VC Ismail

Popular director Roopesh Peethambaran had now come up against the producer of his first film named Theevram. VC Ismail, the one who produced the movie Theevram had now made the Tamil dubbed version of the movie without the knowledge and consent of Roopesh Peethambaran who had written and directed it in Malayalam. He said that it was indeed a cheap stunt from VC Ismail.

Roopesh Peethambaran said in his Facebook post that he is not going for a legal battle in this issue because it will be a waste of time. But he told everyone, not to approach VC Ismail to make a movie even if you are making a Z grade film. He also said that the Tamil version of the movie Theevram is pathetic to the core and alleged that VC Ismail had screwed up the publicity of Theevram at the time of its release.

Now with its Tamil dubbed version, he is again screwing it up. Roopesh Peethambaran said his followers to share his post maximum in order to help aspiring film makers to stay away from VC Ismail.

Theevram is the film released in the year 2012 and Dulquer Salmaan played the lead role in it. Artists like Sreenivasan, Vinay Fort, Shikha Nair, Riya Saira, Anu Mohan etc played important characters in the movie as well.
